The Dietitian conducts studies to evaluate and improve operational efficiency in food and nutrition services. Apply food service management principles within a healthcare setting. Coordinate patient participation and manage nutrition programs for active-duty members. Teach various nutrition classes and programs for beneficiaries of different age groups and health conditions. Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy, including inpatient and outpatient settings. Monitor key laboratory values and adjust diet therapy accordingly. The Dietitian collaborates with physicians to personalize diet prescriptions for patients.
