About The Position

Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages in the acute care setting. Provides nutrition education to patients and families as well as hospital staff. Works as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with Registered Dietitian Credential by the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR) [REQUIRED]
• Completion of Commission of Dietetic Registration accredited dietetics internship and approval to sit for registration exam [REQUIRED]
• Registration-eligible or registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics [PREFERRED]
• Current Dietitian licensure with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services [REQUIRED]

Nice To Haves

• A Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics for those completing coursework after January 1, 2024 [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
