About The Position

We are seeking a Campus Dietitian (Full Time) to join our Nutrition Team in Redlands, California. This role provides nutrition education and training support for the campus community, implements wellness programming, and coordinates with the dining management team to meet dietary needs. The dietitian will also assist with menu development, collaborate on nutrition communication, lead sustainability efforts, and provide operational support within dining spaces. This position involves partnering with various campus offices and departments to ensure alignment with university goals.

Requirements

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format
  • Experience working with special diets and food allergies
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable

Responsibilities

  • Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
  • Implements Chartwells Higher Education wellness programming
  • Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
  • Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
  • Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
  • Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
  • Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
  • Operational execution and oversight – hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
  • Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs
