About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Dietitian at THOP Memorial in El Paso, Texas. The acute care facility offers inpatient and outpatient services, and the Dietitian will have the opportunity to work across all areas. The schedule is flexible, and the position may be part-time or PRN.

The Clinical Dietitian provides Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition education in an acute care setting, partnering with a collaborative team to support patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. The role includes patient care, quality improvement, collaboration with food service management, and supporting staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential or eligibility to take the CDR exam; the listing also specifies an RD credential or RDE.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice, or willingness to obtain licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide nutrition and lifestyle guidance to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply current research in accordance with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support staff and dietetic interns through education and training, as applicable.
