About The Position

This position requires regional travel and is on-site to support multiple accounts and locations across Michigan (Detroit, Grand Blanc, and Warren MI). The setting is inpatient, with M-F availability required, weekend coverage as business requires, and on-site work is mandatory. Join our team as a Regional Support Dietitian and play a key role in delivering specialized clinical nutrition support across the Michigan region. In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings to provide high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy and evidence-based nutrition care that drives positive patient outcomes. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to support multiple projects and accounts, including travel across the Michigan region to meet clinical and operational needs. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • CNSC credential preferred and/or NICU experience

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
