Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited educational program.
  • Current Pennsylvania Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) credential.
  • Active and ongoing registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Knowledge of applicable nutrition, food service, quality, and regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in long-term care, pediatric care, or a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments.
  • Develop and monitor individualized nutrition plans.
  • Evaluate progress.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, medical, and other clinical professionals to ensure each child’s nutritional needs are appropriately addressed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation.
  • Monitor nutrition-related outcomes.
  • Conduct routine audits related to nutrition and food services to support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
