About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic and innovative team at SSM Health - St Mary's Hospital, a 440-bed acute care facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position will work approximately 32 hours per week with excellent benefits. The role involves performing comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow-up assessments for a variety of patient types within the inpatient population, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials with prior acute care experience
- Licensed in Wisconsin
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow up assessments for variety of patient types working with inpatient population
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department.
- Have knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, facility uses Epic.
