This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work in an ambulatory care clinic with a special patient population, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. The Pittsburgh Area Center for Treatment (PACT) of HIV Clinic is seeking a dietitian to join the team. PACT is a Ryan White Clinic and part of the UPMC Center for the Care of Infectious Diseases (CCID). The dietitian will work among a dedicated and highly engaged team of doctors, nurses, social workers, and clinical pharmacists. The center provides comprehensive primary care to more than 1,600 persons 18+ years of age with HIV and approximately 150 patients with a comorbidity of Diabetes. The dietitian and pharmacist partner closely to manage the diabetes patient care needs, including continuous glucose monitoring devices and insulin pumps. The position works Monday through Friday, with off weekends and holidays. There is an ability to work in a hybrid setting (work from home) some days and have autonomy as the only clinical dietitian in the clinic. The PACT dietitian reports directly to the clinic Practice Manager, who is also a dietitian. There is also the ability to serve as a preceptor to dietetic interns from local programs. All dietitian experience levels are encouraged to apply.
