About The Position
The Dietetic Technician is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.
Requirements
- Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire date
- Associates Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition which meets the educational standards established by the ADA
- Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire
- BA or BS in related field with Director's/Clinical Nutrition Manager's approval of transcripts
- Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional care to patients and assure care plans meet set dietary goals
- Provide outstanding customer service in support of our organizational values while serving a diverse population
- Provide assessments, counseling and effective responses to changing patient needs
- Apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and will possess the ability to collaborate to provide a quality product and exceptional experience for our customers
