About The Position

This role involves preparing food according to a posted menu and meeting meal schedules. The Dietary Worker must prepare food using sanitary techniques and adhere to therapeutic menu guidelines by preparing special diets following standardized recipes. Compliance with long-term care regulations and written dietary procedures and policies is essential. The position also includes assisting with receiving and storing food and supplies, communicating and cooperating with staff, residents, and their families, and maintaining a clean working environment in compliance with facility policies.
