Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare dietary regulations

Nice To Haves

Previous Dietary Manager experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate care, memory care or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises Diet Aide staff, including: service briefing before meals, scheduling and hiring.
Promote employee skill development through on-the-job training and quarterly seminars.
Complies with production, handling, and quality food standards related to patient food and clinical nutrition areas.
Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations based on current diet manual.
Attend weekly supervisor and catering meetings, monthly food committee meetings, and resident assessment meetings.
