About The Position
Lead a team that feels like family! Located in the heart of San Francisco, Victorian Post Acute is a premier 90-bed facility dedicated to excellence. As our Dietary Manager, you will have the autonomy to shape our nutritional programs and ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care in a supportive, professional environment. You will lead the Food Services department, balancing administrative oversight with hands-on quality control to provide residents with a superior dining experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is highly preferred but not required
- Proven leadership in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement all dietary programs and activities to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling for the dietary staff, fostering a culture of professional growth.
- Partner with residents and families to assess nutritional needs and preferences, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Manage department costs effectively and oversee the annual budget.
- Participate in menu planning and food preparation, inspecting trays for accuracy and presentation before delivery.
