About The Position

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and compute basic math problems.

Responsibilities

Organizes daily schedule to accommodate efficient food production and service
Follows established policies and procedures for food safety and infection control.
Follows food safety standards to facilitate efficient and safe food production
Dishes food in an attractive and appetizing manner on the tray line
Cooks food at the proper temperature, for the correct length of time and to minimize the length of time it is at room temperature
Documents food temperatures before serving food and documents temperatures after meal service
Utilizes correct portion control measures by weighing or measuring food as indicated
Uses proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques on work surfaces, equipment and cutting boards after each use and as required
Follows standardized recipes.
