About The Position

Copperfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation is currently hiring a Full-time Dietary Cook. Come join our team! This role involves preparing meals in accordance with planned menus, processing diet changes, and assisting in establishing the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time. The Dietary Cook will also develop and maintain good working relationships with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility to ensure food service meets resident needs. Copperfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation is a modern, state-of-the-art care center offering skilled nursing and rehabilitative services, with 124 beds and spacious private and semi-private rooms.

Requirements

Cooking experience in large quantities is required
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow recipes and diet restrictions

Responsibilities

Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food Services.
Assist in establishing food service production line and ensure meals are prepared on time.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the facility to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
