About The Position

Tiffany Springs Senior Living Community is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Cook for a Day to Evening Shift. Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is looking for dedicated and compassionate dietary "rockstars" to join their team. As a Dietary Cook, your responsibilities include preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. You will ensure the safe and efficient provision of nutritionally appropriate food to residents to maintain and enhance their overall health, adhering to Federal, State, and Local regulations for quality food service and nutrition care.

Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

A fire and passion for working with seniors
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving meals according to the menu
Monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
Safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
Ensure the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance to Federal, State and Local regulations
