About The Position

The Dietary Cook supports all dietary or culinary requirements to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times. This role is with Crestwood, an organization with over 50 years of commitment to creating innovative recovery programs and compassionate communities that support clients in their journey. Crestwood's model of care focuses on a personal and self-directed process, empowering individuals to develop skills to thrive. The position is located at Crestwood Manor in Fremont, a skilled nursing facility that provides long-term treatment services to individuals with a primary medical diagnosis and specialized behavioral management needs, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Requirements

• A high school diploma/or equivalent is desired
• Knowledge of required sanitary techniques in food service

Nice To Haves

• Prior food service or dietary experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support all dietary or culinary requirements to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times
• Follow the work schedule as assigned by the supervisor
• Perform other position-appropriate tasks as assigned
• Follow proper procedures for utilizing, sanitizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, cutting utensils, sinks, pots, pans, etc.
