They offer a range of services including short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and home health services. This position involves preparing and cooking meals for residents and staff, adhering to menus created by dieticians and complying with federal, state, and local regulations. The Dietary Cook will operate various kitchen equipment, ensure safe meal service, direct assisting workers, accurately follow diet cards, document food temperatures, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dietary supplies. Confidentiality of all resident, staff, and organization information is also a key responsibility.
