About The Position

White Oak of Charlotte is seeking a Dietary Cook for both 1st and 2nd shifts, with both part-time and full-time hours available. This role is at a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located at 4009 Craig Ave. Charlotte, NC 28211. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid out after 90 days, 180 days, and one year of employment. White Oak Charlotte is a drug and tobacco-free facility and an EOE.

Requirements

• Experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a drug and tobacco screening.

Nice To Haves

• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification is a plus.
