About The Position

Come join the SMC team! We offer competitive wages and excellent benefits. We will train and orientate selected applicant to work in our Dietary Dept. This is a full-time, benefitted position that is 40 hours per week. The role involves cooking from scratch for staff, patients, and any meetings/events as necessary. The cook will maintain safe food handling practices while preparing and serving food. We are looking for honesty and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and serve others with a smile. This would be a good opportunity for someone entering the workforce to gain experience in a friendly and rewarding environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Current Idaho food handler’s card preferred or ability to obtain upon employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Cooking and customer service experience is a plus, but willing to train.
  • Honesty and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and serve others with a smile.
