Requirements

Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Previous dietary aide or culinary experience is advantageous
Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents and staff
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
Assist with food production tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling meals
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food storage spaces
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination
Support meal delivery by bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and assisting with food service operations
Manage time efficiently to meet meal schedules and accommodate resident needs
Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols related to sanitation and food safety standards
