About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Dietary Manager and Cook, the Dietary Cook prepares food in accordance with the applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Knowledgeable in handling and preparing food
  • Food Handler’s Permit required
  • On-the-job training to include short demonstrations for up to and including 90 days.

  • Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Follows established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.
