About The Position

Assistant and performs cooking duties in the food and nutritional service area following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • 1-year experience in institutional food service cooking
  • Diet Technician certification

Responsibilities

  • Prepares all breakfast food items for cafeteria.
  • Serves inpatient breakfast tray line.
  • Assembles and prepares all fried foods.
  • Assist with preparation of specialty sandwiches.
  • Prepares all bread, potato side items, and gravy.
  • Washes all items needed in preparing foods.
  • Assist cook in delivering food items to cafeteria.
