About The Position
Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior-age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Minneapolis, MN. Great experience and foot-in-the-door role for someone looking to get into a medical career or a student! This nutrition services schedule includes; 13 hours every two weeks Day hours Every other weekend and holiday
Requirements
- No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
Responsibilities
- Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
- Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
- Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
- Assists with meal prep and special events
- Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
- Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
