About The Position
The Dietary Assistant cleans food preparation areas and dishes and assists with preparing food trays and nourishments for residents. The role also involves helping prepare hot and cold foods and beverages, following meal schedules, and transporting meals.
Requirements
- Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and understandably.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Some previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare hot and cold foods and beverages.
- Maintain and follow meal schedules.
- Prepare trays with the proper and accurate food items and transport meals.
- Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents.
- Clean food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, glasses, and cups.
