About The Position

As a Dietary Aide with Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. You will help provide nutritious meals while working as part of a supportive team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Able to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods; and perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Able to work around food and cleaning products.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where mandated by state or county law.
Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
