About The Position

The Dietary Aide helps provide efficient, timely, and friendly dining service to residents, staff, and guests in a senior living community. The role supports residents’ dining expectations and maintains clean, sanitary, and well-stocked food preparation, dining, and dish room areas. It also involves proper cleaning and storage of cookware and dishware, following food and equipment safety procedures, and maintaining high standards for food preparation and presentation.

Requirements

• Must possess Serv-Safe certification or be willing to obtain it upon hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and comprehend communications.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and display team behaviors.
• Ability to effectively handle conflict or resident complaints.
• Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Follow all food safety and equipment safety procedures.
• Knowledge of and compliance with community quality standards and requirements.
• Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision.

• Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation.
