Dietary Aide - Part-time
About The Position
The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to residents, taking into account their dietary preferences and restrictions. This role also involves preparing dining areas to create a clean and welcoming environment for social gatherings and meals, assisting in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. A key aspect of this position is engaging with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, fostering an environment where love, compassion, and dignity are paramount.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of start
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions
- Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals
- Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
