As a Dietary Aide, you’ll help create welcoming dining moments for older adults by providing friendly service, supporting meal preparation, and being part of a team that makes a difference every day. As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. Your responsibilities may include: Serving meals with friendliness, respect, and care Assisting with food preparation, portioning, and meal setup Supporting residents by ensuring they receive the correct meals according to dietary guidelines Keeping dining areas clean, organized, and inviting Washing dishes, restocking supplies, and assisting with kitchen tasks Following food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Providing excellent customer service while working alongside a supportive Dining Services team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old (work permit will be required if under 18)
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare dining is helpful — but not required. We’re happy to train the right person!
- Dietary Aide or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
