Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines for seniors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Compassionate attitude and respect for residents’ dignity and privacy

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in food service, healthcare, or a similar setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual care plans
• Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and served in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food service equipment
• Support residents during meal times, providing assistance as needed to promote independence and dignity
• Document meal service and report any dietary concerns or special needs to the nursing staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
