About The Position
Culinary Services Aide - Full-time Evening Shift at Walnut Hills, a part of Greencroft Communities. This role is responsible for creating comfortable and enjoyable dining experiences for older adults. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with others, and supporting behind-the-scenes operations. Requirements
- Reliable attendance and responsibility for work
- Ability to work well with coworkers and be part of a team
- Attention to detail to notice when something needs to be cleaned, organized, or restocked
- Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures
- Positive, helpful attitude during busy periods
- Comfort performing routine and repetitive tasks while paying attention to details
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift or handle items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to safely complete assigned duties while following sanitation and infection-prevention requirements

Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, silverware, glasses, cookware, and kitchen tools
- Keeping dishwashing stations and surrounding kitchen areas neat and ready for use
- Helping culinary staff with basic food preparation, such as washing and cutting produce, preparing salads, or assembling desserts
- Getting dining spaces ready before meals and helping keep them organized afterward
- Moving food carts, dishes, and other supplies throughout the community
- Taking out waste and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas
- Following established food-safety, sanitation, and infection-prevention practices
- Assisting coworkers to help meals and service run efficiently
