About The Position

Concord Post Acute is looking for a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join their team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in providing excellent service to residents. As a Dietary Aide, you will play an essential role in supporting residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble resident meal trays according to prescribed diets.
• Deliver and collect meal trays in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Assist with food preparation and portioning under the direction of the Dietary Manager or Cook.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dining rooms, and kitchen equipment.
• Stock food, supplies, and kitchen inventory as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and facility policies.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with additional dietary department duties as assigned.
