About The Position
Comforts of Home Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide-PM to join our team at River Falls CBRF I. This role is responsible for preparing meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring residents' dietary needs and preferences are met.
Requirements
- Knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes
- Ability to stay within a set budget on all food orders and purchases
- Ability to communicate detailed instructions to staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of residents personal and medical information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly menu
- Assist House Manager with food orders
- Organize, clean, and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen
- Prepare three daily meals as well as snacks for residents
- Maintain knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes
- Instructs care givers on proper sanitary regulations
- Instructs care givers on setting tables, serving residents, clearing dishes, loading, and running dishwasher
- Stays within set budget on all food orders and purchases
- Meet with residents periodically to assess food preferences
- Prepare and track guest meals
- Communicate detailed instructions to staff for evening and weekend meals and baking
- Interact with residents and observe food and liquid intake
- Work with House Manager on food preparation/service for special events
- Maintain confidentiality of residents personal and medical information.
