Greenwood Care in Evanston, IL, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Dietary Aide. The ideal candidate can work 11p - 7a, including some weekends. Greenwood Care is a 24/7 facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric disorders. Located in Evanston, Illinois, residents receive treatment in a residential, homelike setting. Requirements
- Illinois Food Sanitation Certification (or ability to attain this upon hire)
- Must be able to understand, speak and write English
- Good verbal communication skills
- Compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in a food preparation environment a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the chef in the preparation and service of food and beverages
- Coordinate daily dietary services with the nursing staff
- May serve food to bed residents
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal Food Sanitation Codes
- Ensure that work area is consistently clean and safe
