About The Position

The Dietary Aide plays a key role in creating a positive dining experience for residents by preparing, assembling, and delivering meals with accuracy, warmth, and professionalism. This position supports the overall well‑being of residents by ensuring high‑quality food service, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Responsible for food preparation according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Ensures completion of Daily tasks according to established quality and service guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have the basic ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to navigate computer systems and applications.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English at a basic level to ensure clear direction and effective collaboration with team members who do not speak Spanish.
• MUST speak fluent English
• Require courtesy and diplomacy in dealing with residents, fellow workers and the department management team.
• Require verbal ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, labels, & special diets.
• Require the ability to work weekend, holidays, and other shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Cooking skills are beneficial
• Prefer experience in a health care facility.
