The Dietary Aide is responsible for various tasks related to food service operations within the facility, determined by the needs of the shift. This role reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor. The position involves learning food service routines, preparing and serving meals, maintaining dishwashing equipment, preparing nourishments and snacks, and ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary. The aide will also be responsible for putting away groceries, cleaning work surfaces and refrigerators, maintaining floors, and participating in staff training. Cooperation and harmony with personnel in all departments are essential. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
