About The Position
The Dietary Aide position at American House Senior Living Communities is a part-time role focused on ensuring high-quality customer service for residents. Responsibilities include meal plating, kitchen cleanup, setting up dining room tables, serving resident meals, and maintaining cleanliness in dining rooms and kitchens. The role also involves assisting with snack and dessert preparation, transporting trash and linen, following daily task spreadsheets, monitoring refrigeration temperatures, and assisting with special events and catering functions. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Ability to follow and complete a daily task spreadsheet.
- Ability to note refrigeration temperatures.

- Experience in a senior living community is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Meal Plating
- Kitchen Clean up
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for our residents.
- Set up of the dining room tables for meal times.
- Serve resident meals.
- Cleaning of dining room, kitchen, or other areas as directed by management.
- Assisting with the preparation of snacks, desserts, salads and condiments for service.
- Transports trash and linen to disposal area.
- Follows and completes a daily task spreadsheet ensuring all work is completed.
- Notes Refrigeration temperatures.
- Assists with all special events and catering functions.
- Assists with plating and delivery of meals to remote locations.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director.
