About The Position

All Saints Sub Acute Care Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Dietary Aide to join their team. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in supporting meal service operations and ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone with kitchen experience who enjoys working as part of a team dedicated to quality resident care.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of kitchen or food service experience required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Food Handler Card preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and food service.
  • Deliver meals and snacks to residents according to dietary requirements.
  • Follow resident diet orders and portion control guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Stock food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service.
  • Assist with special events and other dietary department duties as assigned.
