About The Position

HHS is a private, family-owned business founded in 1975, providing industry-leading support services including housekeeping, food, and facility management to nearly 1,000 customers across six industries: aviation, government, healthcare, education, senior living, and resorts. The Dietary Aide position is a part-time role located at Northeast Georgia Rehab. This role is crucial for ensuring patients receive accurate meals tailored to their orders and diet requirements, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various mealtime preparations and departmental operations to maintain efficiency and adherence to health and safety policies.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Many healthcare facilities require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in place

Responsibilities

Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
Provide excellent customer service for all patients
Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
