About The Position
This is a part-time position at Carriage Crossing Senior Living of Arcola in Arcola, IL. The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving high-quality meals, snacks, and beverages to residents, considering their dietary preferences and restrictions. This role also involves preparing dining areas, maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety, and engaging with residents in a compassionate manner.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of start
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions
- Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals
- Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
