About The Position

Lorien Columbia is hiring Dietary Aides to join their team. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, going above and beyond to ensure residents are happy, healthy, and well-nourished. Dietary Aides play a key role in making a difference in residents' daily lives. Lorien Columbia, the flagship location of Lorien Health Services, has been serving the Howard County, MD community since 1977. The facility offers skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and includes the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County. With 215 beds across five nursing units and plans for expansion, Lorien Columbia is dedicated to providing exceptional care. It has been recognized as one of the Top Nursing Homes in Maryland by Newsweek Magazine since 2020.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 17 years of age or older to apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, setup, service, and cleanup
• Serve residents with a friendly, respectful, and positive attitude
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas and kitchen spaces
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support timely meal service
• Collaborate with dietary and care teams to meet residents’ needs
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Help create a warm, welcoming dining experience our residents look forward to

• Compensation $16.00 – $16.50 per hour (based on experience)
