About The Position
Marshall Healthcare Facility is a 64-bed skilled and long-term care facility located in Machias, Maine. We are seeking compassionate, team-oriented individuals to join our food and nutrition program as a Dietary Aide. This role is a vital part of our food service team, working alongside Dietary Managers and Cooks to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This position offers a great opportunity for those looking for their first job or a meaningful career change, with training and support provided for success. It also serves as a career launchpad for advancement into roles such as Cook, Management, C.N.A., Nursing, or Activities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- No prior experience necessary— we are happy to train you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages following facility procedures.
- Serve residents while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Set up/take down dining areas and assist with kitchen maintenance.
- Help track kitchen supplies and food items.
- Stay current on facility protocols and state regulations.
