About The Position

White Oak of Shelby is currently accepting applications for the position of Dietary Aide/Relief Cook. This is a part-time role requiring a flexible schedule with a combination of shifts, specifically 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. White Oak of Shelby is a 160-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located near downtown Shelby. The facility offers competitive wages and benefits. White Oak Shelby is a drug and tobacco-free facility and an EOE.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including the 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm shift.
• Must be able to work part-time.
• Pass a drug and tobacco screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a food service or dietary role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Experience as a cook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents.
• Assist with cooking duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Follow dietary guidelines and resident care plans.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
