Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Customer service focused
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Read production orders and diet cards to determine items for each tray
Prepare and assemble food trays with utensils, napkins, and condiments
Assist with food preparation including sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages under the supervision of the cook
Prepare modified diets, including soft or liquid foods
Portion and plate meals according to diet specifications
Inspect trays for accuracy and quality before serving
Deliver trays to residents and assist in dining areas as needed
Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen
Properly store food and supplies
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
Dispose of trash and maintain sanitation standards
Record special food items served to residents
Other duties as assigned
