About The Position

Cura of Willmar is looking for a PM Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team! We're a 78-bed skilled nursing facility, and mealtime is an important part of our residents' day. Our Dietary Aides do much more than work in a kitchen—you'll get to know our residents, help make sure they receive the right meals, and help create an enjoyable dining experience. Previous restaurant, dietary, kitchen, food service, or healthcare experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

Preparing and setting up food for supper
Serving meals to residents
Preparing resident trays according to diet cards
Making sure residents receive the correct food, beverages, and diet consistencies
Delivering and collecting meal trays
Helping residents with meal requests
Recording required food temperatures
Keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold throughout meal service
Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
Cleaning and sanitizing counters, equipment, and work areas
Sweeping and mopping the kitchen
Restocking supplies for the next shift
Completing evening kitchen closing duties
Working with nursing staff to make sure residents receive what they need
