About The Position
Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dietary Aide to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community. The Dietary Aide will serve dinner to residents, bus and wash dishes, and ensure compliance with sanitation standards and dietary restrictions. This position also involves participating in training and ensuring menu supplies are prepared in advance.
Requirements
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in food service work preferred
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve dinner to the residents of the Commons East who choose to dine in the Commons East main dining room.
- Bus and wash all the dishes relating to the evening meal service.
- Completes job tasks as assigned.
- Using all appropriate Sanitation Standards and complies with OBRA guidelines and Production System (Gold Check Standards).
- Clean, neat, and well-groomed Standards.
- Participates in OJT/Training/Teaching sessions; completes required daily expectations to ensure menu supplies are obtained from the storage areas in adequate time for meal service.
- Understands and complies with essential dietary restriction for resident needs as advised through physician’s orders.
