About The Position

The Dietary Aide at Katzman Family Center for Living is responsible for preparing the dining room and assisting with meal service to ensure timely, efficient dining experiences for residents. This role supports food preparation, including assisting cooks, checking diet trays for accuracy, and helping prepare special meals and events. The Dietary Aide serves residents and staff with courtesy, professionalism, and compassion while promoting a positive dining environment. They also maintain cleanliness by clearing, washing, and resetting dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards, and protect resident confidentiality while supporting residents' dietary needs.

Requirements

• 18+ Years of age
• Collaborative team player with the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written

Nice To Haves

• Prior Dietary experience working in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred

Responsibilities
