About The Position
Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to residents at Vivera Senior Living of Columbus, considering their dietary preferences and restrictions. This role involves preparing dining areas to be clean and welcoming for resident social gatherings and meals, assisting in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. The Dietary Aide will engage with residents compassionately, reflecting the values of love, compassion, and dignity in every interaction.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of a ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of start date
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions
- Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals
- Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
