About The Position

Full time position available. Team member to assist the kitchen staff in fine dining food prep and serving in our senior living community. The Dietary Server provides the residents their food and beverages; assists the cook as needed, cleans the kitchen and dining area, and delivers meals to Memory Care and resident rooms as needed. The server must be familiar with the resident’s names, meal preferences, and special diets as prescribed by the physician. The server will work with the care staff to oversee the health and welfare of the residents during mealtimes. Servers will make themselves available to help with special events as directed by management.

Requirements

Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
Communicate effectively in English.
Prior Kitchen work experience.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
Mobility required during the entire shift (bending, twisting, etc.).
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Hardworking, energetic, positive attitude, works well on a team, & excellent attendance mandatory.
Must be able to clear post-offer fingerprint background check and employment physical.

Nice To Haves

Familiar with resident's names, meal preferences, and special diets as prescribed by the physician.

Responsibilities

Follows menus and standards in serving food on a timely basis, in sufficient quality and quantity, incorporating all foodservice requirements, service schedule, and sanitation standards.
Assists in coordinating prep for the following shift & daily menus.
Serves food to residents, employees and special events.
Prepares, seasons, and assists in cooking all menu items.
Dishwashing, cleaning dining room, setting & busing tables.
Works with the care staff to oversee the health and welfare of the residents during mealtimes.
Makes themselves available to help with special events as directed by management.
