About The Position

As a Dietary Aide at Miller’s Health Systems, you assist with the proper delivery of meals and nourishments at scheduled times. You follow regulations and company policies for infection control and sanitation in your work area. You also interact with patients and help provide an enjoyable dining experience. The role requires following instructions, completing orientation and training, and complying with facility policies, safety procedures, dress and hygiene standards, and sanitation practices. The position is part-time.

Requirements

• Successfully complete the pre-employment process and screening.
• Pass a physical examination for employment at the facility.
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training.
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Be passionate about customer service and able to work with a dedicated team.
• Maintain a neat appearance and professional behavior.
• Be willing to learn and follow safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the proper delivery of meals and nourishments at scheduled times.
• Follow regulations and company policies regarding infection control and sanitation of the work area.
• Interact with patients and help provide an enjoyable dining experience.
• Report to work as scheduled or otherwise requested.
• Perform productively within the assigned work area and remain there except during breaks or meal periods, or with supervisor permission.
• Conform to facility rules, regulations, dress codes, and hygiene codes.
• Follow sanitation procedures and safety policies to protect residents.
• Attend mandated meetings and in-services unless excused, and complete required electronic in-services.
• Assist with general maintenance of the work area.
