About The Position

The Dietary Aide works alongside Dietary Managers and Cooks to prepare and serve meals and help maintain a welcoming dining experience for residents. The role supports a safe, clean food-service environment and includes training for applicants with no prior experience. It may also provide experience relevant to careers in cooking, management, or clinical fields.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
• Job offers are contingent upon receiving excellent references and passing the Maine State Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages according to facility procedures.
• Serve residents while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Set up and take down dining areas and assist with general kitchen maintenance.
• Help track kitchen supplies and food items.
• Stay current on facility protocols and state regulations.
